Dr. Wentz earned his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. He completed his residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, where he served as chief resident. He then went on to complete an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians in Phoenix, AZ.

Dr. Wentz is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is highly trained in performing a range of advanced interventional spine procedures, as well as electrodiagnostic testing, to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment strategies for chronic pain.
