Job Description
As a Medical Assistant at CWPC, you will be an essential member of the clinical team, providing both administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. You will interact directly with patients, assisting with examinations, procedures, and other healthcare services. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment that prioritizes patient care.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant health information.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, such as drawing blood, collecting specimens, and preparing samples for analysis.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the healthcare provider.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for use.
Qualifications
- Medical License
- Board Certification
- Immunization and Health Requirements:
- Proof of immunizations (e.g., Hepatitis B, flu, COVID-19).
- TB test or other relevant health screenings.
- CPR/BLS/ACLS Certification:
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
